What is PU Injection Grouting?

PU injection Grouting, also known as polyurethane injection grouting, a technical term used to stop water leakage and seepages by filling the cracks and voids in concrete slabs, joints, floor, wall or even ceiling.

Why use PU Injection Grouting to solve Water Leakage Problems?

PU Injection Grouting is the best option in most water leakage issues. Injection grouting is cost effective as compared to other traditional methods. This method involves injecting resin into affected areas or crack lines which cause a chemical reaction when in contact with water filling up empty spaces in these crack space. There is no need to hack your walls, floor or ceiling with modern PU Grouting technique.

PU Injection Grouting Process

Assess

SWC Construction will assess the affected leakage area with possible PU Injection grouting method to ensure no re-occurrence of water leakage. A site assessment followed by additional thermal imaging technique helps pin-point leakage source.

Insert Packers

Upon accessing the underlying water leakage issues, grouting nozzle will be placed at strategic points to ensure grout is properly injected. Leaving no gap between these touch points for water to leak into or out of it.

Cleaning

Technician will perform a cleaning to ensure that no additional dust or external variables will affect the process of PU injection grouting. Dust and dirt will be out of the way when grout is injected into affected area to solve these water leakages

PU Grout Injection

Grout will be injected into these packers to fill up crack lines and holes. To add on, additional repair and sealing will be executed to fortify the affected area with cement based waterproofing material to ensure no water leakage.

Warranty

To further validate our effective work, SWC Construction will provide a warranty period to ensure our work is 100% effective and no leakage will occur again with our professional PU injection Grouting Method.

When should we apply PU Injection Grouting Method

When clients require a fuss-free method, environmentally friendly and time effective waterproofing solutions be it in residential or commercial buildings. PU Injection grouting method is popularly used to repair active leaks with it’s given fast drying properties and ability to reach tiny hairline cracks that are naked to the human eye.

Water remains the most common cause of cracks in buildings and over time concrete and other porous surfaces may experience cracks due to constant expansion and contraction cause by the environment. If these cracks and voids are found in wet areas (kitchen, balcony, toilet, bathroom), it may weaken the structural integrity of your house or building. Thus, a PU injection grouting should be performed quickly to prevent additional underlying problems.
